In its quest to contribute significantly to the upliftment of education amongst the members of its immediate community, Darul~Arqam Schools, Gusau conducted a 3-day UTME refresher training to all the candidates in the area free of charge from 9th to 11th March, 2020 = 15th to 17th Rajab, 1441AH.
The training, which was an initiative of the schools' director, in the person of Sheikh Doctor Muhammad Rabi'u Shehu Na'ibi was coordinated by the schools' head teacher and his assistant, Ustaz Kabir Abdulraza'k and Adam Usman MNIM. It was facilitated by experts in JAMB stuffs: Malam Aliyu from G.S.S.S.G, Malam Abdulrahman Ja'bbi from L.I.S.G and Malam Kabir Abdulraza'k from D.A.S.G.
The main focuses of the program included: CBT training; JAMB tutorials, Guidance and Counseling; moral session and so forth. It was facilitated with computer systems, JAMB CBT tarining software and other instructional aids.
The training was smoothly carried out and was highly successful as most of the candidates not only grasped the ideas but were able to display the skills learnt and performed well in their tutorials and assessment sessions.
According to the director, this training will henceforth be carried out annually, whenever the UTME period approaches.
